taste-wise, no difference if it's done the same way locals here eat the stuff.. which is to totally submerge it in way too much sugar syrup

i actually like the stuff without sugar...

and if it's sold outside, i kinda like the ginger syrup...

try pouring some rose syrup onto the stuff too.. changes everything

yes.. mom makes the stuff some times but haven't had it for ages...

normal soup but use tau huey in place of tofu

Ya man. The consistancy and taste is more like pudding than tau huey

Just that instead of milk, you use soymilk nia.

If it is the traditional tau huey can do what Bear and I do and use it with savoury soups and sauces as a tofu substitute

Not too sure. But most other experts find tat permanent bolts is better.

But they all agreed that better maintenance regime is needed for the wheels and third rail.

Was at NLB..

Many years ago, I think it was 1999... There seem to have a third rail falling off incident.. But the TO managed to spot it before similiar accident occured. Think it was at Tampines.

Apparently back in 1992, there was an incident that caused MRT to be out of service from noon to 10am the following day.. SBS buses were pulled out to provide bridging sv.
